This Privacy Policy describes how FaceMaxx ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information when you use our mobile application.
FaceMaxx is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or retain:
When you take or upload a photo for analysis, the image is transmitted securely (via HTTPS) to our processing server and then to Anthropic's Claude AI service, which performs the facial analysis. The photo is processed in real time and is not stored after the analysis is complete. Analysis results are displayed on your device only.
Anthropic's handling of API data is governed by their policies: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy. Per Anthropic's API terms, data sent via the API is not used to train their models.
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device only (never transmitted to us): your daily analysis counter and app preferences. You can erase this at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it.
The App displays advertisements provided by Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). Unity Ads may collect certain device information, such as your advertising identifier, IP address, and device type, to serve and measure ads. This collection is governed by Unity's Privacy Policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App and provided personal information, please contact us.
The App provides informational and entertainment content only. Analysis results and suggestions (including references to cosmetic procedures) are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified specialist before making decisions about medical or cosmetic procedures.
All data transmission between the App, our servers, and AI processing services uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
